      Look forward to seven competitive races and the chance to see some young horses beginning their careers, with two Novice races, a Maiden stakes and a Nursery stakes. This fixture is often provide a useful insight into the future.

      The ten-furlong Foundation Stakes, is the feature on a mouth-watering seven race card.

      Worth over £50,000 in prize money, this Listed contest has produced high profile winners down the years including the late Henry Cecil trained Twice Over. He followed up his victory at this fixture with success in the Eclipse at Sandown and the Juddmonte International at York. More recently, the Richard Hannon-trained Anna Nerium has proved a useful performer at the top level.

    Celebrate Goodwood’s final fixture of the season, in a laid back country-style atmosphere. In between fantastic racing, enjoy merry tunes against the backdrop of roaring fire fits, toasted marshmallow and a traditional hog roast - a truly fitting finale to the season.

    On the track, enjoy a one-off opportunity to see some of the stars of the National Hunt world as professional jump jockeys switch to flat racing in the Alderbrook Handicap Stakes. Season Finale also sees the culmiation of the Dick Hern Trophy, awarded to the leading trainer at Goodwood during the season, it always promises to be a closely fought battle.
