The Qatar Goodwood Festival starts as it means to go on, with some of the best racing action of the week. The Group 1 Qatar Goodwood Cup takes centre stage, won by the imperious Stradivarius for the last three years and Big Orange twice before. However, the quality doesn't stop there with the Group 2 Qatar Vintage Stakes, a race renowned for creating the stars of the future, won in 2019 by star two-year-old Pinatubo.

The £1 million feature race of the week, the Group 1 Qatar Sussex Stakes is the highlight of Wednesday, won by the likes of Frankel in the past. It's the first time the Classic three-year-old generation take on their elders over a mile and it typically serves up a spectacle often called the 'Duel on the Downs'.

Ladies’ Day is the most glamorous day of Festival week and is truly the place to see and be seen. Racing starts with the unique ladies' charity race, The Magnolia Cup, which was won last year by history-maker Khadijah Mellah. The action doesn't stop there, with three group races and the small matter of the Group 1 Nassau Stakes to be decided.

Friday is all about pure speed, with the Group 2 King George Qatar Stakes taking centre stage. Won by ultimate speed demon Battaash for the last three years, who will come out on top this time around? With three other group races on the card, Friday blends quality racing with an incredible atmosphere.

The finale of the Qatar Goodwood Festival, with the feature race taking the form of the famous cavalry charge, the Unibet Stewards’ Cup. The runners sprint for home across the width of the track with a dramatic finish almost guaranteed.
